Computer and Information Services offers centralized instructional technology services to faculty and staff at AASU.

Dr. Nancy Luke and the Office of Faculty Development co-sponsor monthly meetings of the Online Teaching Community.  All faculty are welcome to attend.

WebCT Vista Workshops in August 2006
Beginning August 1 until September 1, CIS will offer special sessions for the Faculty to address WebCT Vista transition questions. These sessions will be held every day from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm in the MCC Annex Room 102. CIS is prepared to extend these sessions based on demand.

CIS will also offer two scheduled training sessions for the Faculty on WebCT Vista:

* July 31st 10 am until Noon (Part 1)
* August 2nd 10 am until Noon (Part 2)

Additional training sessions will be scheduled in September, as needed.

Additionally, The University System of Georgia has partnered with Presidium Learning to provide a Vista Online Support Center (OSC) that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! The OSC can be accessed at http://help.view.usg.edu and is available to all students, faculty and staff. Vista users can access troubleshooting tips, peruse the knowledgebase, reset their passwords and submit tickets. We encourage the faculty and your students to take advantage of this new service.
